CKL Group launches Lim Tayar Family (LTF) initiative
KUALA LUMPUR: The CKL Group is a leading automotive services group that is on a mission to strengthen its presence in the country. Thus comes its new initiative, the Lim Tayar Family (LTF) programme.
Under its new initiative, the group will form more strategic partnerships and offer new services. For instance, complimentary vehicle inspection, licencing programme, and used car market certification.
CKL Group’s Joint Managing Director Clement Lim said, “We have been looking at ways to expand the range of our services to bring more value to our customers. With the LTF programme and complimentary vehicle inspection, more customers will be able to have access to our products and services.”
He further added, “Over the years, we have established Lim Tayar as a trusted and reliable brand. As such, we will continue to work with our business partners to roll out new services and to build up expertise and capabilities so that our customers will have confidence when they visit our stores.”
As for the group’s views on forming strategic partnerships with industry leaders will bring strength to the table and create a robust ecosystem overall.
What is the group offering under the LTF programme?
- The tyre retailers and workshop owners will be able to enhance their services by leveraging on the support and strength of the Lim Tayar brand name
- It will help the new partners with manpower, marketing, and training requirements
- Complimentary vehicle inspection and certification services for used cars. This will enhance the vehicle sales and will be sold via its partnerships with industry leaders. Initially Lim Tayar eight outlets in Klang Valley will offer the service
On providing used cars with complimentary vehicle inspection and certification services, Me Lim said, “We will be adding on more outlets to carry out the complimentary vehicle inspection service as we progress. We started offering this service as a pilot project to ensure tip-top service quality and smooth operations before we roll out to the rest of the outlets."
Furthermore, a full report would be created for used vehicles that have undergone inspection. It will indicate the current condition of the vehicle and will give assurance to potential buyers that the car is verified and inspected to what the seller declared.
In addition to the LTF initiative, the CKL Group is coming together with industry leaders through its technical vocational training arm, School of Skills to enhance students' technical education capabilities.
The Lim Tayar’s outlets are strategically located in Klang Valley making it convenient for buyers to send their cars for inspection and certification. Here’s are the eight Lim Taya outlets -
