Maserati ‘Serenity’ program offers 7-year warranty coverage

KUALA LUMPUR: Maserati Levante SUV is the best selling model in the brand’s lineup, which now comes with seven-year unlimited mileage warranty coverage. It means an increase of four years over the standard three-year coverage. However, it is a limited-run offer that is valid throughout June 2020.

The offer comes under a seven-year warranty program, called ‘Serenity,’ which Maserati recently launched across the SEAP region (South East Asia Pacific), including Malaysia. It aims to provide best-in-class after-sales service to Maserati owners. This seven years warranty is different from the extended warranty that the company already offers as an option.

Simon Inglefield, General Manager of Maserati SEAP comments, ‘We are very proud to present the Program in our region which demonstrates the great confidence in our products, but also the care and promise we would like to deliver to our customers, especially during this uncertain period.’

Maserati Levante comes in two variants in Malaysia - S Gransport and S Granlusso. Both trims are powered by the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine producing 430 PS of power and 580 Nm of torque while mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. The base variant is priced at RM 858,940, while the top-spec trim retails for RM 916,587.

The automaker has recently added a Levante Trofeo Launch Edition trim to the lineup. It features one of the most powerful engines ever fitted in a Maserati road car, i.e. a 3.8-litre Twin Turbo V8 unit paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The engine is capable of generating a whopping power of 590 PS and 730 Nm of torque. 

The SUV can manage a top speed of 304 kmph, while the run from zero to 100 kmph is accomplished in 3.9 seconds. However, only three units out of 100 for the world are available in the country at a price of RM 838,800 (before local duties and taxes).
