Mercedes-Benz launches E 300 Exclusive Line and E 200 SportStyle Avantgarde in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the E 300 Exclusive Line and E 200 SportStyle Avantgarde. They come along with the range-topping W213 Mercedes-Benz E 350 AMG Line in the brand's premium E-Class range.

The Mercedes-Benz E 200 comes with the Avantgarde package, featuring a sporty exterior. There is a chrome louvre below the front bumper, while the rear bumper has the high-gloss black chrome trim. A reverse camera and the high performance LED headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist are among the standard features. It rides on the 18-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the E 200 gets a widescreen cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays. The car comes with Artico leather upholstery and Audio 20 infotainment system with Apple CarPLay and Android Auto connectivity. The driver will grip the multifunction sports steering wheel which is wrapped with Nappa leather. Speaking of safety, it features Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Parking Assist etc.

The E 300 comes with the Mercedes-Benz Exclusive package which has the Multibeam LED headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, and Nappa leather upholstery with Artico leather lining. The car also comes with a Lane Tracking Package, powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, Lane Tracking Package, 360-degree camera, etc.

Both the cars are equipped with an M264 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. However, the tunings are different. The E200 belts out a maximum of 197 hp power along with 320 Nm of peak torque. It can gear up from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 240 kmph. The E 300, on the other hand, is tuned to offer a maximum power of 258 hp and peak torque of 370 Nm. It takes just 6.2 seconds to speed up from zero to 100 kmph mark. The top speed of the car is 250 kmph.

The E 200 SportStyle Avantgarde carries a price tag of RM 329,888, and the E 300 Exclusive Line costs RM 379,888.
