Perodua launches P-Circle super app ahead of its first-ever EV

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s largest automotive brand, Perodua, has taken a crucial move towards becoming a tech-driven mobility company. The automaker has launched a new super app, named P-Circle, which brings together several vehicle-related services under one umbrella.

This initiative moves the brand closer towards incorporating Mobility as a Service (MaaS), offering drivers flexible solutions based on their travel needs.

Perodua P-Circle features

Perodua P-Circle super app offers the following services - 

P-Duit	An e-wallet service which makes payments easier for nearly all transactions in Malaysia. It will be quite useful for the buyers of the upcoming Perodua EV as all charging point operators will be accepting payments through this e-wallet.
P- Calendar	A reminder app
P-Reward	Loyalty points gathered through this Super App can be collected and used here
P-Health (Smart Watch)	It monitors a suite of health monitoring system
PAC Home	Home charger port.
P-Charge	Mobile charging points for EVs
P Charge Mobile	Freedom of charging your EV on the go. A crew will be there in case your EV needs emergency charging currently available in West Malaysia
P Marketplace	A collaboration with Perodua Spare Parts Department, offering customers an official online platform to buy genuine spare parts and accessories. In Phase 2, it will expand to include other verified sellers, such as TM Unifi and small Malaysian businesses, after a proper onboarding and credit verification process to ensure authenticity and trustworthiness.
P-Chat	Forum for Super App users and Perodua car owners. comprising automotive discussions, guidance and tips
P-Entertainment	An OTT – “Over the Top” A streaming platform service with local content and contest
P Vehicle	A module for our upcoming Electric Vehicle (EV) (will only be made available after Perodua’s EV launch). It is a remote-control module that lets users control their EV remotely. It includes features like turn on/off the vehicle, location tracking, air-con control, lock/unlock the car, etc.
Check-in	Location check-ins and share in their social media accounts
P-Home	Virtual smart home. Smart-home app that can be accessed through your smart phone and smart watch
P-Map	Perodua’s navigation system

“The P-Circle offers mobility as a lifestyle as all these offerings, covering a significant portion of our online services engagement under one super app,” Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said. 

“This diversification into tech-based business is in line with our future direction and the auto industry’s future in terms of convergence with consumer preference towards connecting their vehicles, and even homes with the Internet,” Dato’ Sri Zainal said.

“We foresee that this convergence will only grow stronger in the years to come, and we want to prove that we can innovate by providing all the services our customers’ needs before they ask for them – which is in line with our 'We Go Beyond' philosophy,” he explained.

Perodua’s new super app aligns with global automotive trends of building smart, connected ecosystems. It aims to boost the EV ecosystem, strengthen Malaysia’s fintech sector and promote IoT-based living. 

The Perodua P-Circle is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Perodua smart watch and portable EV charger

Alongside the new app, the automaker also introduced a portable EV charger concept and a smartwatch. While the details on the former are scarce, the latter can be purchased at any Perodua Sales and Service outlet nationwide for RM 950.
