Subaru Forester Facelift Brochure Leaked

Kuala Lumpur: The fourth-generation Subaru Forester will be a facelifted along with some interior tweaks. This can be confirmed through some photos of a leaked brochure which was published on a Japanese blog. However at an event in Japan, which was held on October 6, Fuji Heavy Industries has teased a possible reveal for a facelifted model. This fresh batch of images clearly hints towards the minor exterior and interior changes to the 2017 Subaru Forester.

Major exterior changes include slightly tweaked LED headlights and taillights, a restyled grille with the badge moved into the centre of the chrome strip along with a new bumper. The sportier design of XT model is further accentuated by a more aggressive lower grille design, chrome highlights and huge side whiskers. Changes can also be noticed on new taillight design and revised two-tone wheels. The interior has undergone small changes with a new three-spoke steering wheel and a redesigned instrument cluster loaded with a full-colour display in between the speedometer and tachometer. The passenger side of the dashboard has also been restyled along with a new design for the door handles and centre console 'struts'. .

This car would be offered in three variants namely, 2.0i-L, 2.0i-L EyeSight and S-Limited. All the trims are powered by an FB 2.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-four petrol mill. This engine is further paired to a Lineartronic CVT and an all-wheel drive. The power figures are not yet revealed but, this car churns out a fuel economy of 16 kmpl. Talking about the pricing, all three models have received a price hike as compared to their predecessor. The 2.0i-L is priced at RM91,600, 2.0i-L EyeSight at RM95,400 and S-Limited at RM102,700.
