Updated Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X surfaced online
KUALA LUMPUR: In the rendition of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia #TetrisChallenge, the updated Triton Adventure X was displayed. The car comes with a host of updates that includes the Flying Sports Bar. It was seen on the top Adventure X kit, launched in August 2019, at no additional cost.
Part of the update is a digital video recorder, an exterior sticker set, a new audio system having Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and all-round monitor (ARM), all provided to the range-topping version.
It is the bi-LED projector headlamps along with the LED daytime running lights that perform the lumination duties. The notable features of the car are the powered driver’s seat adjustment, automatic wipers, leatherette seat upholstery, and paddle shifters.
Coming to the safety department, the Triton Adventure X comes with front passenger seatbelt reminder, auto high beam, front and rear parking sensors, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, BA, stability control, and traction control. Other features included are as follows :
- Forward Collision Mitigation along with autonomous emergency braking for vehicles and pedestrians
- Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (front and rear)
- Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
- Blind Spot Warning having Lane Change Alert
To recall, there is a 2.4-litre MIVEC VGT turbodiesel engine, that powers the Triton Adventure X. The motor can make a maximum power of 181 PS along with a peak torque of 430 Nm. It is the six-speed automatic gearbox that takes care of the transmission duties. It is further equipped with the Super Select 4WD-II system. There are four driving modes for the later, including mud, sand, rock, and gravel.
