Not very responsive and feels frankly
I was very excited to purchase the BMW X1 after having a great experience with other vehicles offered by the brand. Unfortunately, it has failed to live up to my expectations. When accelerating the car hesitates making it feel frankly, less responsive and a little unsafe. The middle console knobs and dial have been replaced with a touchscreen interface, meaning I need to make simple adjustments I need to take my eyes off the road. Yes, there is an option for voice assist, but it doesn’t work as expected. The auto shut-off feature is another annoyance as it turns the car off when I stop at traffic lights.
