I invested in the BMW X1 considering its exceptional quality and prestige, but it became apparent over time that the car was not able to live up to its reputation. I found the display system to be overly complicated and it even malfunctioned at various times, cutting out at critical times Apple CarPlay which is really very frustrating. The biggest failure of the car came when it did not start on a road trip. After spending hours with customer service on the phone and getting a jump-start, I was informed it would cost a huge amount to fix the faulty system.
