I wanted a car that would continue to feel electric but doesn’t come with the charging fuss, and that’s what Nissan’s Kicks e-Power delivered. It comes with a petrol engine, working as a generator, while the wheels are driven by an electric motor. Thanks to their combined performance, the response feels immediate and smooth. Furthermore, the e-Pedal Step allows me to control speed effortlessly, especially while navigating through congested areas and stop-and-go traffic. No more foot pain or frustration from constantly pressing the clutch in petrol or diesel variants. The Bose PersonalSpace speakers are built directly into the headrests, offering fun on longer rides. My only gripe is the loud generator sounds that remind me the car isn’t a full EV.
