992-generation Porsche 911 teased

KUALA LUMPUR: Porsche, the German automaker has already been spotted on multiple occasions testing the new 992-gen 911. And now, giving the impression that the final production model is ready to roar, the brand has released a teaser video on its Facebook page. Staying true to the teaser characteristics, the video doesn’t reveal much about the car. The curves have been highlighted, and the 4-LED headlamps flash a couple of times.

The design language on the new Porsche 911 is quite different compared to the present 991.2 version. As mentioned before, there are 4-LED headlamps, horizontal DRLs, and larger than before air-intakes at the front. Moving to the rear, there is now a horizontal LED strip that flows from one end to the other. Also, present are air-vents and dual round exhaust units on either end of the rear bumper.

The 3.0-litre turbocharged 6-pot mill is expected to power the 922 -gen Porsche 911 as well. Transmission options are very likely to include 7-speed manual and PDK dual-clutch units. With features like Advanced Cockpit that includes dual digital screens along with a big tachometer, resemblance to the Cayenne and the Panamera is also very much expected from the new Porsche 911.
