All-new Honda Civic: In Pictures

It was only a few days back that Honda Malaysia launched the all-new Civic sedan in the country. The 11th generation model surely has big shoes to fill as the previous-gen model is hugely popular to this day.

Like before, Honda Malaysia is offering the new Civic in three variant options - base E, mid-spec V, and range-topping RS model. Compared to the previous model, the new one experiences a slight price hike. The below-mentioned table gives full details on the same -

The prices are on-the-road without insurance, inclusive of the SST rebate that is valid till June 30, 2022. Each purchase will be accompanied by a five free labour for servicing, and 5-year, unlimited-mileage warranty.

With 1200 bookings in hand, Honda Malaysia expects to sell 900 units per month. Deliveries will commence soon with a waiting period of between one to two months, depending on the variant.

The new Civic exudes a dominant presence on the road. Its clean cuts and impressive silhouettes hold desiring gazes. Also, the sedan’s new, exhilarating design DNA not only helps the car stand out but lead the way into the future.

The sedan comes equipped with Auto LED headlights and LED daytime running lights together they offer improved illumination. Also, part of the kit is LED fog lights that instantly light up the path in low visibility weather.

The rear profile like the front is attractive and features rear LED combi lights that leave a lasting impression. The sleek trunk spoiler and the twin tailpipes with chrome finishes only add to the car’s sporty look and feel.

The new Civic rides on 18-inch matte black alloy wheels that outshine others when in motion and captures envious eyes when still.

The new Civic’s offers a large, spacious, and glass cabin that feels unrestricted and open. Plus it is loaded with all the right gears to make passengers and drivers feel comfortable at all times.

It is stylish too, the honeycomb mesh panel on the dashboard looks so refreshing and pleasing that it is almost impossible to take one’s eyes off it. As expected, Honda has used high-quality materials that are both easy on the eyes and a treat for the hands.

As can be seen, the new Civic offers a practical centre console that can store a lot of things, from a coffee cup to a large smartphone. Keeping the setup clean is the fingerprint-resistant centre console.

The Civic as we know offers a spacious cabin, but that’s not enough without a comfortable and stylish seat. Right? So, here we have leather seats with red stitching. The driver’s seat comes with an 8-way power adjustment making it the ‘throne’.

Taking care of rear passengers' comfort and needs, the Civic gets rear cooling vents and two USB charging ports.

The new Civic is packed with human-centred technology that seamlessly integrates with users' lives. Just take on the wheel and take advantage of the car's advanced, intuitive, and easy-to-use tech features like smartphone connectivity that helps you stay connected with the apps you use via the in-car display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

On the centre of the dashboard sits an ergonomically angled full HD 9-inch advanced display audio.

The sedan as expected benefits from a leather steering wheel with control buttons. It allows you to access all the information at your fingertips, be it phone calls, entertainment, and driving data.

The Electric Parking Brake system helps put the Civic in park with just a click of a button. Making the job sophisticated and effortless.

The 11th-gen Civic helps meet your passion for power with more turbo excitement in seamless shifts. The 1.5-litre VTEC turbo engine is tuned to deliver more power and torque, all this while staying fuel-efficient. In addition, the car offers improved control and surprising smoothness.

The power is sent to the wheels via the next-gen continuous variable transmission (CVT). You can feel the sedan’s dynamic performance and efficiency with its luxurious gearbox covered in leather.

The new Civic comes equipped with Honda Sensing suite of safety features that actively and intuitively watch over you. The package consists of 9 advanced driver-assistive technologies including - Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist System, Auto High Beam, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Low Speed Follow, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lead Car Departure Notification System.

The sedan’s G-Force Control (G-CON) body absorbs and diffuses impact away from the cabin during a collision.

Aso part of the car’s safety kit is- Front & Rear Seat Belt Reminder. Parking Sensor System, Honda LaneWatch, Multi-Angle Rear View Camera, Hill Start Assist, Emergency Stop Signal, Auto Brake Hold, ISOFIX I-Size Type, Vehicle Stability Assist, and Walk Away Auto Lock.
