CarLinko mobile app launched for Chery PHEV SUVs

KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia marked its entry into the country’s plug-in hybrid space with the launch of the Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 8 PHEV, offering a balance of electrified performance and exceptional fuel efficiency suited for Malaysian driving conditions. Well, the company has now rolled out a new mobile app, exclusively for its PHEV owners.

Named ‘CarLinko,’ the new Chery mobile app aims to redefine its plug-in hybrid electric vehicle ownership experience through smarter monitoring, energy management and everyday convenience. The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (iOS Devices) and the Google Play Store (Android Devices).

What does the Chery CarLinko mobile app offer?

The app lets owners control their vehicle remotely, track its health, and manage its charging and maintenance, all from their smartphones. Key functions are as follows - 

Remote control and convenience	Remotely activate the air conditioning before entering the car.  Helps you locate your parked vehicle and reduces daily hassles and saves time
Smart charging management	Schedule battery charging at home during preferred hours and manage electricity usage efficiently
Real-time vehicle insights	Give owners real-time access to vital vehicle information wherever they are Users can view their vehicle’s status including mileage, remaining driving range, battery and petrol level Provides tyre pressure information and fuel consumption data Owners can review service schedules and access detailed service records

These features support smarter energy management and complement the benefits of driving a PHEV, especially when the fuel costs are rising, making long-term ownership worry-free and well organised.

Is the Chery CarLinko mobile app free to use?

Yes, the app is offered as a complimentary feature for Chery PHEV owners. 

• New car owners: The activation and pairing of the app for new car owners will be completed seamlessly during vehicle delivery.
• Existing Chery PHEV owners: The existing customers can visit their nearest authorised Chery dealership for the app’s setup process.
