Hyundai likely to unveil Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N models on July 15

KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai has been expanding its N range of models for the past few years, and it seems that it has not yet done with it. Because the South Korean automaker has recently teased a few more N models, which are set to be unveiled on its annual N Day on July 15. So, which are these upcoming Hyundai N cars, let’s know. 

In the first teaser image, Hyundai showcased a long coupe model hidden under a black cover. While not much is known about this mysterious concept car, we can figure out a long hood, a big apron, a sloping roofline and a giant rear wing. The car sits very close to the ground that hinting towards an N sports car. As per the reports, this model could be a part of the automaker’s latest joint project with Rimac to develop an emission-free sports car.

Moving to the second teaser, here we see a blurred image of a hatchback running on a race track, which is quite an easy guess. It has to be the N version of the brand’s top-selling Ioniq 5 EV that has recently been spotted while testing at the Nurburgring. The car dons Hyundai N's trademark shade of blue. 

Last but not least, the third teaser previews a car’s rear fascia, visible through tyre smoke. It clearly looks like the tail end of the newly revealed Ioniq 6 electric streamliner as we can figure out the same pixel design full-width tail lights and the massive rear wing. The latest electric vehicle is based on the same E-GMP electric platform on which the Ioniq 5 also sits. So, it is likely that Hyundai will roll out the N models of both these EVs.
