MBM Resources Berhad gives back to society; supports food aid charity

KUALA LUMPUR: A donation of RM 300,000 has been made to 5 Food Bank support organizations by MBM Resources Berhad. The cheque handover ceremony took place on 16th December 2021 at Menara MBMR. The said contribution by the company is part of its giving back to society along with its urge to help those affected by COVID-19.

The selected five Food Bank Support organizations benefiting from MBMR’s contribution are actively involved in food distribution charity and support throughout the nation. They are -

• Food Aid Foundation
• MyKasih Foundation
• The Lost Food Project
• Happy Bank Crew
• Great Heart Charity

At the handover ceremony, the selected Food Bank Support organizations were given a mock cheque by MBMR Chairman, Datuk (Dr) Aminar Rashid bin Salleh and accompanied by the Group Chief Executive Officer, Encik Muhammad Fateh Teh bin Abdullah and Group Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Annie Chin.

Also, being a fairly responsible organisation MBMR will undertake activities involving society. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, the company will provide positive social values to the ecosystem and take up philanthropic causes.
