Mitsubishi offers rebate and bonus on ASX, Outlander, and Triton

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors, one of Malaysia’s most popular automobile brand, currently has some exciting promotional offers for the local market. The ASX and Outlander SUVs are picked under the promotion in the passenger car segment along with the Triton pickup trucks.

Under the said promotional offers these Mitsubishi cars are priced without the GST until August 31 till the stocks last, or till the SST (Sales and Service Tax) is re-implemented, whichever comes earlier. The promotion even includes the Merdeka Bonus but would be varying for different models.

The Mitsubishi ASX series SUVs have a GST rebate of RM 7,500 for the AWD model and RM 6,700 for the 2WD. Added to this, there is the Merdeka Bonus of RM 8,000 on both the models, which takes the total discount of RM 15,500 for the 4WD and RM 14,700 for 2WD.

 

The Mitsubishi Triton Athlete and the VGT Adventure X have similar benefits of RM 7,100 GST rebate and RM 8,000 Merdeka Bonus. The VGT AT Premium and AT GT have a rebate of RM 6,500 and RM 5,800 respectively, in addition to the RM 8,000 Merdeka Bonus. Moreover, the VGT MT has RM 6,000 rebate and RM 8,000 bonus, taking the total amount to RM 14,000.

However, the CKD units of the Mitsubishi Outlander have lower Merdeka Bonus of RM 4,000 on both the 2.4-litre and 2.0-litre variants. The respective GST rebate on them is RM 8,700 and RM 7,800.

These prices given by Mitsubishi Motors includes the OTR (on the road) private registration but only in the Peninsula area. However, in addition to this, the dealerships of the brand will be offering further gifts upon the completion of test drives and bookings and mini-challenges and fun activities.
