Mitsubishi Xpander reaches 50k sales milestone; Remains No.1 non-national MPV

KUALA LUMPUR: It is a big day for Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia as its best-selling model, the Xpander, has achieved a sales milestone of 50,000 units. This achievement further cements the model’s position as the No.1 non-national MPV in Malaysia for five consecutive years since November 2020.

To celebrate this achievement, the automaker has rolled out the ‘XPANDER Step Up To Your Dream’ campaign, which offers savings worth up to RM 10,000. It includes -

Upon hitting the said milestone, Takashi Sakamaki, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, thanked the customers for placing their trust in the brand. • Fuel-efficient engine: Powering the Xpander is a 1.5-litre in-line 4 DOHC, 16-valve MIVEC engine producing a maximum power of 105 PS at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 141 Nm at 4000 rpm. 
• Modern features: The MPV comes fitted with several creature comforts such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 4.2-inch TFT Coloured LCD, a wireless charger, DVR, an automatic air conditioning system, and 6 speakers.
