Next-gen Ford Ranger Raptor launch date confirmed for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, it is true. Ford Malaysia's lineup would soon include the all-new Ranger Raptor. The bolder, more aggressive version of the Ranger pickup has so much more to offer over the regular model, both in terms of looks and features.

Turse Zuhair, Managing Director, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford on the soon arrival of the new Ranger Raptor said, “With its significantly enhanced performance, modern technologies and best-in-class capabilities, the next-gen Ranger Raptor is the definitive king of pickups. According to a recent announcement by Ford Malaysia’s official distributor, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the next-generation Ranger Raptor will be officially launched on October 7, 2022. Where? At the Baja track on the fringe of Sepang International Circuit (SIC).

Ranger fans, members of the public, and Ford customers are welcome to be a part of the next-gen Raptor launch. Interested individuals can register for the same via the SDAC-Ford Malaysia website. The pickup’s public launch will take place from 7 to 9 October 2022, at Baja track in Sepang.

At the new Raptor’s public launch the onlookers will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the pickup. How? Via a well-planned guided walk-around and test drives around an allocated track.
