What makes the Proton S70 suitable for the national taxi programme

The spacious cabin of the S70 offers generous legroom and rear-seat comfort, while its large luggage compartment enhances practicality for airport transfers and family travel. As for driver comfort, the sedan’s refined ride quality helps reduce fatigue during long hours behind the wheel.

The vehicle is powered by a responsive yet fuel-efficient turbocharged engine and promises a great combination of performance and operating efficiency, making it suitable for daily commercial use. Backed by Proton’s nationwide after-sales network, the S70 provides operators with lower ownership costs while maximising vehicle uptime, claims the automaker.

Dato' Ir. Abdul Rashid Musa, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, said, "For more than four decades, PROTON has grown alongside Malaysia, and we have always believed our responsibility extends beyond building cars. We have a role in supporting national development, strengthening local industry and improving everyday mobility for Malaysians.

"The Program Pembaharuan Teksi MADANI Nasional demonstrates what can be achieved when the Government and industry work together with a common purpose. We are honoured that the PROTON S70 has been selected to support this effort because it reflects confidence in Malaysian engineering, manufacturing capability and the quality of our products.
