Q1 2022 was Lamborghini’s best sales quarter ever!

KUALA LUMPUR: As we step into Q2 2022, automakers around us look back and analyze their sales performance over the past three months. Why? Firstly, it tells them which of their models/segments is doing well, and secondly, what they have done right/wrong and form a future course of action accordingly.

One of the automakers done with the sales data analysis process is Lamborghini, and the results are overwhelmingly positive.

The luxurious carmaker has experienced a fantastic sales quarter with 2,539 deliveries globally. Thus making Q1 2022, Lamborghini’s best sales quarter ever!

Compared to the same period last year, Lamborghini experienced a 5 percent increase, and over Q1 2020, it is a 31 percent hike. A definite call for celebration indeed.

Which model came out to be the most significant contributor?

Well, it’s none other than the Urus. The SUV contributed almost half of the sales figures and is expected to perform well in the future.

Other significant contributors are Aventadors and Huracans, as customers quickly grab the final V12 units before the automaker clears the production line.

The sales report didn’t mention any specific country, as almost all markets except Russia (amidst the war, business operations were suspended until further notice) experienced a sales hike.

Future expectation

Lamborghini expects the sales figures to climb even higher, and helping it achieve the target are three new models coming in Q2 2022, including one Huracan and two Urus variants.

We aren’t sure which new Lamborghini model will arrive in Malaysia. However, until that happens, let’s enjoy the recently arrived Aventador LP-780-4 Ultimae.
