SDM launches three new BYD 3S outlets in Klang Valley

KUALA LUMPUR: In collaboration with Sime Darby Motors, BYD made a grand entry in Malaysia late last year. Back then, the Chinese automaker also spilled beans about its big plans for the local market, including upcoming EVs and opening up of dealerships. In line with that, SDM and BYD inaugurated three 3S centres in Klang Valley yesterday.

The new BYD centres are strategically located in Ara Damansara, Glenmarie, and Cheras and offer easy accessibility, convenience, and top-notch sales and aftersales services to customers within the Klang Valley area. Other amenities include comfortable lounges, complimentary WiFi service, charging facility, and snacks (at selected locations). 

BYD 3S centre Ara Damansara 

The outlet located in Ara Damansara is operated by SDM subsidiary Sime Darby Beyond Auto. The latter has invested around RM 11 million in the centre which has a 19,375 sq ft built-up area and is equipped with advanced facilities and complies with BYD’s brand identity. It comprises four service working bays that can serve up to 270 units of vehicles every month. The centre is managed by a team of 48 passionate employees.

BYD 3S centre Glenmarie

The Glenmarie centre is managed by BYD Sisma Auto. Spanned across an area of 21,527 sq ft, this outlet can display up to 9 cars. As for servicing, there are 10 work bays.

BYD 3S centre Cheras

Millenium Auto Beyond looks after the BYD Cheras centre which has a 21,323 sq ft. built-up area. It can display up to four cars and is equipped with five service work bays.
