    Award-winning design

Crowned with the 2025 French Design Gold Award as “The Most Beautiful Crossover,” the C7 stands out with its bold and futuristic design, defined by cleaner lines and smoother curves.

The shark-nose front profile houses a body-coloured parametric grille with illuminating hexagonal patterns on the corners and a clamshell bonnet design that flows into crisp side panels.

The rear features "Electric energy design" tail lights with a series of connecting arrows, along with a prominent kink over the fender. Accentuating the side profile are massive 20-inch turbine-style alloy wheels, flush pop-out door handles, and backed-out D-pillars.

Plug-in hybrid and pure ICE on the cards

Under the skin of this attractive SUV lies the Super Hybrid System (SHS), which can also be found under the Jaecoo J7 PHEV. This next-gen drivetrain combines fuel efficiency, electric endurance, and thrilling performance. In global trials, it completed a record-setting 1,457 km Super Hybrid Marathon across different terrains, including coastal highways and mountainous backroads.

The setup pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol mill with an electric motor, generating a combined output of 347 PS and 525 Nm. The electrified SUV also incorporates a single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and an 18.3 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate battery pack that offers an all-electric range of 95 km.

Along with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, a pure combustion version is also likely to hit the local roads, considering Chery’s plans to offer different powertrain choices across key brands like Omoda | Jaecoo. The ICE model may feature a 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol mill delivering 197 PS and 290 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

    VIP-level comfort

The SUV has a wrap-around spacious cockpit that addresses long-standing concerns like stunning design compromise on space, or that advanced technology features are inconvenient to operate.

The upcoming Omoda C7 has a roomy layout that offers class-executive ultra-quiet VIP comfort, thanks to its ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) technology and hydraulic mounting systems. These systems can reduce noise by an impressive 10dB and enhance chassis shock absorption by 30%.

Further enhancing the in-cabin experience is a dual-zone climate control system featuring a PM2.5 air purification system and an integrated fragrance system. Adding to the premium feel is a Sony audio system that comes with headrest speakers for an impressive sound experience.

    Innovative sliding screen

The cabin continues its high-tech narrative with an innovative sliding screen taking the centre stage at the dashboard. This innovative 15.6-inch display comes with a motorised sliding track and can move from the centre toward the front occupant, allowing them to experience on-board infotainment.

Powered by a high-speed processor, the screen is paired with an 8.8-inch digital driver panel and a high-definition head-up display.

Similar in size to the Jaecoo J7

Positioned between the Omoda 5 and the Omoda C9, the C7 is similar in size to the Jaecoo J7. It is 4,621 mm long, 1,872 mm wide, and 1,673 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. For comparison, the Jaecoo J7 measures 4,500 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,672 mm.

These dimensions put the C7 within the C-segment SUV category, where it will rival the likes of the established players like the Honda CR-V, the Toyota Corolla Cross, and the Proton X70
