Toyota C-HR in Neon Lime Limited Edition released in the European market

KUALA LUMPUR: After introducing a new bodykit version for the popular SUV, C-HR at 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show, the car gets something special again to make a unique stand in the crowded market. This time the company has done the specialty for the European market. The Japanese carmaker has introduced a Neon Lime edition of Toyota C-HR. But the droopy thing about the news is, the car is a limited edition product and only 2,000 units will be available.

As the exterior gets the major change, it should be the first thing to mention about. The coupé-inspired design is painted in a vibrant Neon Lime paint and to give the car a contrast-matching look, the roof comes in black colour. The smoky look is accompanied with a couple of LED headlights and the car now rides on matte black coloured 18-inch alloy wheels. To recall, this similar design of the wheels is recently introduced by the UMW Toyota Motor on the 2019 Malaysian model.

Inside the cabin, this exclusive car gets Alcantara and black leather upholstery. And to focus more on its uniqueness a nine-speaker JBL sound system is also provided. Other than these, as usual, an assortment of driver assistance and safety features are also included.

Moving to its oily bits, Toyota C-HR Neon Lime edition is claimed to be only available in Hybrid trim. There will be a 1.8-litre Atkinson-cycle VVT-i engine, which can give a maximum power of 122 PS and a maximum torque of 142 Nm. This engine will be paired with two electric motors and the whole powertrain combination will give combined fuel consumption of around 26.31 kmpl.

As already mentioned, Toyota C-HR Neon Lime edition is a limited edition vehicle and each unit will get a 360-degree JBL Music Experience Pack. The pack will consist of a set of JBL speakers and headphones and a six-month subscription to the Deezer music streaming service.
