UMW Toyota confirms the price of Rush, starts from RM 93,000

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota has confirmed the price of the Rush, which is one of the important models in its lineup. The manufacturer launched the car last year with a provisional price tag. However, back then the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Malaysia did not approve the pricing details.

New Toyota Rush is available in two variants -1.5G A/T and 1.5S A/T. The 1.5G variant carries a price tag of RM 93,000, while the 1.5S model would cost you RM 97,000. Also, the car gets optional features like Premium Security and Solar Film, which holds a price tag of RM 2,120. The car comes with five years of warranty along with unlimited mileage.

The Toyota Rush is available in five different exterior color options namely White, Dark Grey Metallic, Dark Green Metallic, Blue Metallic, and Silver Metallic. The seven-seater gets a new MPV-SUV crossover look. It comes with a four-slat grille, slim LED headlamps at the front, and features circular fog lamps and faux inlets on the lower end. The Rush rides on the 17-inch alloy wheels which are wrapped in 215/60 profile tyres. It also features ‘R-Blade’ body kit that gives the car silver touches on the sides.

The new Toyota Rush is powered by a 2NR-VE 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated Dual VVT-i four-cylinder engine. It can make a maximum power of 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque 136 Nm at 4,200 rpm. The drive is sent to the rear wheels with the help of a four-speed automatic torque converter. It can provide a fuel-efficiency of around 15.6 kmpl.
