UMW Toyota welcomes you to a bigger and more exciting 2-day TGR festival

KUALA LUMPUR: Due to the global health crisis, racing activities of the Vios Challenge racing series were held behind closed doors and without public attendance for two years. Well, that’s not the case anymore. Get ready to see fun-filled on-ground racing as UMW Toyota is finally set to re-open the doors of the Toyota Gazoo Racing festival for the public on 25-26 June 2022. 

The event marks the Round 2 of the Vios Challenge, following Round 1 held in March this year. at the Sepang International Circuit. 

“We are so excited to be able to welcome back the people to the Festival and Round 2 of the Vios Challenge. There are a myriad of activities lined up suited for everyone, from families looking to spend their weekend to racing fans and enthusiasts. Welcome back!” said UMW Toyota Motor President Ravindran K.

The main attractions of the upcoming racing event are -

Exciting races: As earlier, the race will be organised in four categories - Super Sporting category for professional racers, Sporting for amateur competitors, Rookie class for young racers and Promotional class for celebrities. 

Live concert: The celebrities who will be battling in the Promotional Class Includes actor Shukri Yahaya, actor Zizan Razak, television host Nabil Ahmad, singers Wany Hasrita, Nabila Razali and Khai Bahar, actress Janna Nick, TV personality Ahirine Ahiruddin, and actress and presenter Ain Edruce. These celebrities will also perform live during the event. 

A special concert starring Malaysian rock band Bunkface will be organised on Saturday while you will see an international act by Indonesian singer Judika on Sunday.

Attractive prize money: Touted as the most rewarding racing series in the last five years, Season 5 offers more than half a million ringgit in prize monies, including RM 70,000 and RM 50,000, to the overall champion of the Super Sporting and Sporting Class categories, respectively.

All-Wheel Fest: The enthusiasts with non-motorised vehicles like bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, longboards, push bikes, push scooters, etc, who are yet to experience the Sepang International Circuit, can take a spin around the 2.7 km track. 

Zumba: As for fitness aficionados, there will be an exclusive Zumba session.

GAZOO Racing Dream Team TGR Fantasy Game: This game is meant for those who cannot race but aspire to be intimately involved in the Vios Challenge. It is a racing platform where people can sign up and create their TGR Dream Teams of racers and compete. A team has to select three players from all the four categories of racing, and their points will be added or deducted as per the real game. At the end of the season, the winners will get exciting prizes.

Other attractions: Merchandise and promotional booths, carnival games and activities
