2016 Toyota Prius C Will Feature Safety Sense Kit and 'Persona Series' Special Edition

Kuala Lumpur: Post last year facelift, 2016 Toyota Prius C for U.S. market will now feature many advanced safety features in addition to a special edition variant. The revised 2016 Toyota Prius C will come with an option of Toyota Safety Sense C-Suite of Active Safety Kit, which includes many advanced safety features such as Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Assist and Automatic High Beam into the standard mix of nine airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC) and Smart Stop Technology (SST).

The best thing about 2016 Toyota Prius C for U.S. Market is that it will also feature a 'Persona Series' special edition which will be limited to 1,500 units with sales beginning December. Featuring mid-spec Two trim, (including cruise control, two-tone fabric seats, a 60:40-split rear bench and a tonneau cover), the 'Persona Series' special edition of 2016 Toyota Prius C will be only available in black, featuring Black Alloy Wheels, Electric Line or Cherry Pearl Highlights under the headlamps, side windows and on the lower front grille trim, side mirrors and rear-view mirrors.

Other features and specializations of 2016 Toyota Prius C will remain pretty much similar to the last year's facelifted version, which equipped the Prius C will new standard-fit LED Headlamps, revamped LED Taillight Graphics, Aggressive Front Bumper, Revised Interior Materials and better NVH. The power-train of 2016 Toyota Prius C for U.S. Market remains unchanged with the same 1.5 litre Atkinson-cycle VVT-i engine mated to an electric motor producing 71.97 hp of power and 111Nm of torque, paired with an electric motor and an eCVT, producing a system total of 97.60 hp.
