In addition, the upgraded people-hauler gets a new AYC (Active Yaw Control) feature, which controls the difference between driving force and braking on the sides to optimise vehicle stability when manoeuvring fast or on slippery roads.
Also new for the 2025 model year is an upgraded multi-around monitoring system, which displays a 360-degree view around the vehicle and assists while manoeuvring and parking.

Same powertrain
Under the hood of the new Indonesia-spec Xpander, we can find the same tried and tested 1.5-litre naturally aspirated MIVEC inline-four engine, which generates a maximum power of 105 PS and a peak torque of 141 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a CVT-type AT or a 5-speed MT.
The new Mitsubishi Xpander is offered in six variants in Indonesia - GLS MT, GLS CVT, Exceed Tourer MT, Exceed Tourer CVT, Ultimate MT, and Ultimate CVT, priced between IDR 270,100,000 (RM 71k) and IDR 337,800,000 (RM 88k).
