BMW 330Li M Sport arrives in Malaysia, check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Malaysia has finally unveiled the first-ever BMW 330Li M Sport. It is the country’s first long-wheelbase model that will be locally assembled. For comparison, this one is 110 mm longer and wider than the ongoing BMW 330i M Sport. On the height front, it is 6 mm taller, however, it still maintains the sedan’s dynamic silhouette.

"The First-Ever BMW 330Li M Sport emerges as a marvel in new dimensions for the BMW 3 Series, combining the capaciousness of a longer wheelbase with the ever-present sportiness of a BMW compact executive sedan, sacrificing neither in the process. Truly, the First-Ever BMW 330Li M Sport opens up an avenue for customers to experience Sportiness in New Dimensions," said BMW Group Malaysia Managing Director, Harald Hoelzl.

Like its sibling, the BMW 330Li M Sport carries a sporty DNA. It striking design bits is enhanced by elements like -

• Adaptive LED headlights
• Black-strut kidney grille lined in chrome
• 18-inch M light alloy wheels
• Panorama glass roof
• Double-sided exhaust tailpipes finishers

BMW 330Li Sport exterior colour options include two tones - Carbon Black and Mineral White.

Being a long-wheelbase version, the sedan combines superb space and comfort. For instance, the rear passengers will enjoy 42 mm legroom and more head room as well. Other key inclusions are - 12.3-inch instrument display, M leather steering wheel, velour floor mats, M-specific pedals, three-zone auto air-con control, 10.25-inch infotainment system, 11 predefined lighting design, My BMW app and more.

The Malaysian-spec model is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that makes a maximum power of 258 PS from 5,000 to 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 400 Nm from 1,500 to 4,400 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission.

Backed with such a powerful engine, the 330Li Sport can cover the century sprint in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph.

The sedan’s safety features included a Driving Assistant suite that offers -
