Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG Line debuts in Malaysia at RM292,888

KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has rolled out the new C 200 AMG Line, a new entry to its popular C-Class family, priced at RM292,888 on-the-road without insurance.

Deliveries are expected to begin from October 2025, with pre-bookings now open online.

The C-Class has been the brand’s top-seller in Malaysia for over a decade, and this latest model – assembled locally at the Pekan plant – continues that momentum with a sharper design, added features, and mild-hybrid power.

What's new?

The new C 200 AMG Line sports a more aggressive AMG Line exterior package, which includes:

• AMG front apron with larger air intakes

• Diffuser-style rear apron

• Radiator grille with Mercedes-Benz pattern

• Twin visible exhaust outlets

• 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels

The braking setup has also been upgraded, featuring larger, perforated front discs with “Mercedes-Benz” lettering – a detail aimed at enhancing both performance and visual appeal.

Under the bonnet is a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid assist, producing 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. An integrated electric motor provides an additional 17 kW and 200 Nm, boosting acceleration. The car goes from 0–100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and tops out at 246 km/h.

Cabin and features

Inside, the AMG Line interior raises the sportiness factor with:

• A flat-bottom nappa leather sports steering wheel with perforated grips

• AMG stainless steel sports pedals

• Black velour mats with AMG branding

Practicality isn’t overlooked either. The Parking Package with 360° camera offers multiple views, including a 3D bird’s-eye perspective on the central screen, while the USB Package Plus provides six USB-C ports and two 12V sockets, all with fast-charging capability.
