Mercedes-Benz Malaysia last to release zero GST price list

KUALA LUMPUR: It’s 31st May guys! Which means starting tomorrow automobile prices would fall by approximately 6 percent. GST would no more be a part of vehicle price calculation, and we advise all our readers to make the most out of this blissful scenario. Over the period of last fifteen days, we have sourced Hyundai zero-GST, Nissan zero-GST, Audi zero-GST, Isuzu zero-GST and many more auto brands revised price list. Last, to become the part of the ongoing zero GST bonanza is the German automaker, Mercedes-Benz.

Earlier today, Mercedes Malaysia released an updated price list that included the current (with 6 percent GST) and new (without GST) prices of its models. The difference between the two prices took us by surprise. Staring from a minimum price drop of RM 11,798.94 (for A 200 AMG Line), the difference goes as high as RM 26,036.81 (for V 220 d AMG Line).

Mercedes Malaysia stocks a total of fifty-two cars in its lineup, out of which only a few misses out from the zero-GST treat. In this list are included - CLA 250 SPORT 4Matic, AMG C 63 S sedan, C 200 Advantage and Exclusive, and AMG 43 4Matic.

The production entering 2019 G-Class doesn't fall under the revised price radar, the E-Class range is there to fill its shoes. The E 200 Advantage that until today retailed for RM 333,888, post the GST slash would be available for RM 315,029. The E 350 e Executive with EQ Power enjoys a RM 22,197.88 price cut, bring its retail down to RM 370, 690.

Wait, there’s more! Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is also running a World Cup Campaign. Under this offer, the automaker is offering buyers either a 1.98 percent interest rate with Hire Purchase Classic or Agility Financing.

Starting tomorrow, until the government implements SST (sales and service tax), GST would remain at 0 percent low. Make the most out of this opportunity.
