Mitsubishi Triton & Xpander are more expensive than before

KUALA LUMPUR: If you are planning to buy the Mitsubishi Triton or Xpander then get ready to spend a little more than before. As the Japanese automaker has released its revised price list making both models dearer than before.

Let’s get to know about each of the models in detail -

The low-riding Triton Quest 4x2 is powered by a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine making a maximum power of 110 hp and 200 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via a manual gearbox.

The rest five Triton variants get a 2.4-liter MIVEC turbo diesel engine generating 181 PS at 3,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 430 Nm at 2,500 rpm. As for the transmission, there is the option of either a 6-speed manual or automatic with sport mode, depending on the variant picked.

The Xpander MPV, on the other hand, houses a 1.5-liter MIVEC DOHC 16-valve mill under its hood which makes a max power of 105 PS at 6,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 141 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Paired with the engine is a 4-speed automatic transmission.
