New Mitsubishi Motors 3S centre opened in Bintulu, Sarawak

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Mitsubishi in Malaysia, i.e., Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) together with Auto Pacifica has opened a new 3S Centre in Bintulu, Sarawak. The dealership has been built with an investment of half a million Malaysian Ringgit.

It is for the first time that Auto Pacifica opened a showroom in Sarawak and that too with Mitsubishi’s new corporate brand identity. It works on the brand's global tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’. As for the people living in Sarawak, it is Mitsubishi’s second 3S dealership in Bintulu.

The new Auto Pacific Bhd dealership has a built-up area of 3,000 sq. ft, and it houses a fully-equipped workshop that can service up to three Mitsubishi car and has a parts storage area as well. Also, the 3S centre offers a customer lounge and has a fully-equipped advance diagnostic tools and SST (Special Set Tools) to service every vehicle entering the bay.

Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, said, “Mitsubishi Motors was established in January 2005 in Malaysia. Auto Pacifica joined the Mitsubishi Motors family four years later in 2009, so this marks our tenth year as business partners! With the opening up this new Auto Pacifica Mitsubishi Motors dealership, the Japanese brand now has a total of 54 showrooms and 55 service centres through the country. MMM has 15 showrooms in East Malaysia region.

At the showroom, you can check out Mitsubishi’s complete range of cars. For a little heads-up, the Outlander and ASX Compact SUV are locally assembled in Malaysia, while the Triton 4X4 pickup is imported from Thailand as CBU units.
