New Peugeot range on display at 1 Utama Shopping Centre

KUALA LUMPUR: Earlier this morning, Bermaz Auto Alliance kicked off the Peugeot Roadshow at 1 Utama Shopping Centre showcasing several new Peugeot models, including the Peugeot 2008 SE, Peugeot e-2008, and Peugeot Landtrek. The show will run from 10 am to 10 pm at the mall's Luxe Concourse till May 25, 2023.

The all-new Peugeot 2008 SE (Special Edition) made its way to Malaysia in April this year. It is based on the Peugeot 2008 Allure and is priced at RM 137,003. It features exclusive graphic decals on the exterior, Matte Black trims, and 17-inch alloys finished in piano black tone. Two optional accessories packages include - a hands-free power tailgate and a P-URE Performance tint.

Coming to the French pickup truck, the Landtrek landed on Malaysian shores back in March. It is offered in a sole 1.9D Allure variant, priced at RM 120,072. It comes equipped with a 1.9-litre inline-four turbocharged diesel mill kicking out 150 hp of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is hooked with a 6-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.

And last but not least, the Peugeot e-2008 on display during the roadshow is a fully electric SUV that made its first public appearance in the country at the recently held 2023 Malaysia Auto Show. Set to go on sale later this year, the EV underpins the same Common Modular Platform (CMP) available on non-electric 2008. 

Powering the Peugeot e-2008 is a 136 hp/260 Nm electric motor that is fed by a 50-kWh battery. The upcoming French EV can cruise up to 320 km (WLTP range) on a single charge.

Overall, the special preview event offers a sneak peek into the amazing world of Peugeot.
