No time to waste, Toyota introduces body kit for newly launched 2023 Prius

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only yesterday that Toyota revealed the all-new Prius hybrid, full details of which can be found here. And now we hear that Toyota has introduced a body kit for the already stunning-looking vehicle.

Modellista and Gazoo Racing, two of Toyota’s in-house tuners are out with body kits for the 2023 Prius. Thus giving the new hybrid different appeals, rugged and clean depending on the customers’ liking.

New Toyota Prius Modellista body kit

Modellista is known for outrageous designs and the same is the case with the Prius. For the hybrid, the tuner has introduced two distinct kits namely Neo Advance Style and Elegant Ice Style.

As can be seen from the image, the Neo Advance body kit features blue and white lighting elements on the front bumper and side skirts. It also gets chrome trim on the wheels.

The Elegant Ice body kit, on the other hand, gets clean lines on the bumper extensions and side skirts along with the same chrome-laden wheels as its counterpart.

New Toyota Prius Gazoo Racing body kit

The Toyota GR body kit for the new Prius includes bigger and newly designed wheels. A small front bumper lip, and a ducktail spoiler.

Overall, the body kits only add to the car’s look with the mechanical bits remaining intact. We feel it will remain that way as the Toyota hybrid is all about efficiency and introducing a new performance version would interfere with the figures.

A bit about the all-new Toyota Prius

• In its new version the car archives a lower center of gravity and rides on 19-inch wheels
• A smooth ride is assured by Macpherson strut suspension in front and a double wishbone setup in the rear
• The new Prius is offered in three powertrain options - a 223 hp 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid, 193hp, 2.0-litre series-parallel hybrid, and 140 hp 1.8-litre series-parallel hybrid units
