Government employees and fresh graduates to enjoy special financing packages from Proton

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian automotive company, Proton has partnered with Bank Rakyat to make the special financing packages available for government employees and fresh graduates on selected models manufactured by the carmaker. The scheme mentioned above will run until December 31, and it will provide two exclusive financing rates if a buyer purchases Persona, Iriz, Exora or Saga. According to the company’s director of sales, the scheme will also offer a free service package.

 “Under this special scheme, Bank Rakyat offers customers easy financing approval, while Proton makes it more attractive with a free service package of up to two years, depending on the model chosen. The Saga is being offered with one-year free service, while the Persona and Iriz get two years of free service, including free labour and parts,” said Fazli Hisham Shukor, Proton’s director of corporate sales. 

Talking about the two special financing rates, one of them is An-Naqlu 1, which gives a 90% loan that commences at an interest rate of merely 2.88% per annum. Moving to the second financial rate, it is An-Naqlu 2, that offers 100% financing, which starts at 3.30% per annum. In addition to that, the financing tenure starts from five years to nine years, with a minimum investment of RM 30,000. 

The above-mentioned special packages will be limited to Malaysian government employees who are aged between 18 to 60 years and graduates aged between 20 to 30 years. Moreover, the carmaker is also providing an enhanced insurance bundle, which is sketched in collaboration with Zurich Takaful and Etiqa Takaful. This bundle will offer special privilege, including assurance of zero added costs for Proton vehicles up to 10 years old.
