Proton X70 now available for online booking at RM 99

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton X70 SUV is now available for online booking. All you got to do is head to Proton's website, click on Book Now, provide your personal details, preferred model along with color choice, as well as, the city and state where you wish the car to be delivered. Also, a full refund will be initiated in case you want to drop the reservation. The booking amount is supposed to be paid online, with a framework wherein the receipt would be sent to your registered email id. Proton will then assign a business counsel to deal with your request and within seven days your booking would be processed. 

The Proton X70 is available in four variants, including Standard 2WD, Executive 2WD, Executive AWD, and Premium 2WD. The engine present under the hood is a 1.8-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine producing 181 hp of power and 285 Nm of torque in all variants. All the trims feature the same transmission, a 6-speed automatic achieving 0 to 100 kmph in 10.5 seconds for the 2WD variants.

As the Proton X70 SUV is based on Geely Boyue, the interior slightly identical to this Chinese car. Seat upholstery in all variants is different with the Standard variant featuring fabric seats, Executive leatherette, and Premium, a Nappa leather upholstery. However, the good thing is that variants feature six airbags, electronic stability control, and touchscreen infotainment system with an eSIM.

The Proton X70 comes with an advanced voice recognition software which utilizes two microphones implanted in the touchscreen. It gets activated by the expression "Hi, Proton". The voice recognition system on the Proton X70 is extremely user-friendly. The SUV also comes preloaded with offerings like online radio, music, navigation, and weather forecasts, all making your drive more enjoyable and sorted. The Premium variant comes with a panoramic sunroof which can be controlled both via a click of a button and voice recognition. And as the voice recognition system has artificial intelligence, the car will become more familiar with the way you speak over time.
Other features which the Proton X70 offers are - Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent High Beam Control, Adaptive Cruise Control (between 30 kmph and 150 kmph), Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which uses cameras and radar for such features as Blind Spot Information System, and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
