KUALA LUMPUR: Proton is strongly committed to delivering high-quality vehicles and after-sales service to Malaysians. As part of its recent initiatives, the national carmaker has launched a nationwide service campaign for vehicles that are out of warranty.

Running from 30 March to 30 June 2026, this campaign aims to encourage owners of selected models to return to authorised service centres for routine maintenance, especially those who have missed regular servicing schedules. Key highlights include -
- It applies to Proton cars registered between January 2018 and January 2021 and have over 12 months of lapsed service records.
- The basic service package includes engine oil replacement, oil filter, labour and a free 40-point safety inspection covering key areas such as brakes, tyres and battery condition.
- Pricing begins as low as RM 120 for the Saga, Persona, Iriz, and Exora (using semi-synthetic engine oil); however, for the X series models (X50 and X70), it starts around RM 216.

Alongside rolling out such initiatives, Proton continues to expand access to a reliable after-sales network with 190 authorised service outlets and 77 Body & Paint centres nationwide. The expanded network is supported by -
- Strategically located parts centres, ensuring faster access to genuine spare parts
- Professionally trained technicians and service advisors, promising reliable and efficient service.
Proton has also introduced the following initiatives to strengthen its service quality and make vehicle maintenance more efficient and convenient -
- Service Experience QR: This programme enables Proton car owners to share their feedback on their service experience with the help of a quick digital form available at service centres nationwide. It provides valuable insights to support continuous improvements in service quality.
- Fast Service: This initiative ensures basic service completion time of 90 minutes, from vehicle check-in to key handover.
- ProCare Smart Plan: It provides maintenance packages with flexible payment options.
Additionally, the brand offers comprehensive Body & Paint services alongside the Proton Insurance Programme (PIP) that supports accident repair and insurance needs. A 24-hour roadside assistance is also available through Proton’s helpline at 1-800-888-8398.
