Two new Tesla AC destination charging stations opens up in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s EV market is expanding like crazy with not only new electric cars entering the market but the complementing charging stations. Recently, BYD Malaysia launched the 2024 Seal EV and now Tesla Malaysia has expanded its charging station network with two new AC destination charging stations.

    As for its future plan, Tesla Malaysia will be setting up at least 50 individual DC chargers throughout the country out of which 30% will be open for EVs from other brands.

    The Tesla destination charging station at The Ship Campus (at No.1, Education Boulevard Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Kampung Batu Kawan, 14110 Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia) is functional 24 hours and can be found outside the facility's outdoor car park.

    As for the All Seasons Place (at 6H-1-21, All Seasons Place, Lebuhraya Thean Teik, 11500 Air Itam, Penang, Malaysia) destination charging station, it is also functional 24 hours a day and can be found at the facilities ground & first floor of the indoor car park.
