Volvo EX60 Cross Country EV revealed globally with a ‘go anywhere’ attitude
KUALA LUMPUR: Volvo has pulled the wraps off its new mid-size electric SUV, the EX60, in the global markets. Alongside the regular model, the Swedish automaker also surprised everyone with the reveal of its Cross Country version, dubbed as the Volvo EX60 Cross Country.

- The Cross Country version is sprayed with a new and exclusive shade, called Frost Green, which reflects the inspiration Volvo Cars designers find in Scandinavian nature.
- It features several unique cosmetic enhancements that focus on its special place in the brand’s lineup.
- Equipped with exclusive Cross Country models wheels, the EV looks tougher with brushed stainless steel skid plates and exudes a commanding road presence with wider and rugged wheel arches.

- In comparison to the standard EX60, the Cross Country version sits 20 mm higher off the ground and comes with an air suspension setup that adds another 20 mm of riding height if required. The suspension can also lower the vehicle for aerodynamics and enhance high-speed efficiency.
- Inside, the electric SUV also offers a higher seating position, offering a better overview of the road ahead and a stronger sense of control.
Photo from Volvo- The EV is offered in two all-wheel drivetrain options - P10 AWD Electric and P12 AWD Electric, taken from the standard model. The former provides an all-electric range of 640 km (on the WLTP cycle), while the latter, set to launch at a later date, will deliver a longer range.
- Using a 370 kW DC charger, the EV juices up from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes.
