2016 Subaru Forester CKD kits arrived in Malaysia - Assembling starting soon

Kuala Lumpur: After much waiting, Subaru is finally here with its all new Forester, on Malay land. Earlier, the Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. announced that it will provide the CKD kits by April 2016 for local production of 2016 Subaru Forester. Seems like the eventually hiked demand of this crossover has forced its parent company to start with the production and meet with the due demands of Indonesia and Thailand as well after finishing off with the bookings made by Malaysian customers. The latest model of Forester will be assembled at the Tan Chong's plant situated at Segambut so that the waiting list can be sorted out in minimal time. This is the same production unit where Subaru is manufacturing XV crossover for more than 3 years now.

As per the latest news, Subaru Malaysia has already received 10,000 Subaru Forester CKD units and is starting the assembling anytime soon. The sources revealed that the new 2016 Subaru Forester would be ready for sale by June-July 2016 in the local market and would take another 2-3 months to export them to neighbouring countries. Unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015 and marking a strong presence in front of the prospective customers, the new 2016 Forester is offered with a 2.0-litre turbo and a naturally-aspirated engine options. Tech specs don't end here and to make this drive compatible with off-roading and adventure driving, all-wheel drive layout helps.

The new 2016 Subaru Forester carries a restyled and more appealing exterior in comparison to the outgoing model. The sturdy structure graced with adaptive headlights are accompanied by Subaru signature LED beam lights. The addition of latest equipment under the hood and in the cabin has helped the company stand in competition with some other renowned brands. A new range of safety aspects has also been packed within this drive which has ensured that the value is not only enhanced on the aesthetic front but also on the protection of the occupants.
