Booked one, won another: Ipoh woman wins a Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate

KUALA LUMPUR: Booking a Mitsubishi Xforce came with an unexpected bonus for 39-year-old Saidahtul Khairunnisa binti Martius from Ipoh, Perak: another Xforce.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has named her the grand prize winner of its Mitsubishi Xforce “Buy 1 Free 1” contest, with a brand-new Xforce Ultimate as the prize.

The contest formed part of the early bird campaign that accompanied the opening of Mitsubishi Xforce bookings in Malaysia in February 2026.

Customers who booked during the campaign period received a RM5,000 cash rebate and three free labour services, alongside entry into the draw to win an additional Xforce. According to MMM, the free labour offer brought the vehicle’s total five-year maintenance cost down to RM3,900.

Two other customers also picked up prizes in the draw. Nurhidayah binti Mokhtar won an iPhone 17 Pro Max as the second prize, while third-prize winner Choong Ye Siew received an iPad Pro.

An unexpected showroom visit

For Saidahtul, the news came as a surprise when she arrived at the showroom. She said the Xforce’s design initially caught her attention, while comfort was a highlight once she drove it.

“When I first arrived at the showroom, I was surprised and excited as I had no idea what was happening. Winning a brand-new Mitsubishi Xforce is something I never expected. What first attracted me to the Xforce was its stylish design, and after driving it, I found it to be very comfortable. The overall driving experience gives me a strong sense of safety and confidence on the road. I am truly grateful to Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia for this unforgettable experience and look forward to creating many wonderful memories with my family in our Xforce,” said Saidahtul Khairunnisa binti Martius, Grand Prize winner of the Mitsubishi Xforce “Buy 1 Free 1” contest.

MMM chief executive officer Takashi Sakamaki also congratulated the winner.
