Jetour races ahead in Malaysia - 2k bookings in 3 months, 20 outlets open, 30 more coming

KUALA LUMPUR: Launched in April this year, Jetour has quickly emerged as one of the strong contenders in the rapidly evolving SUV segment in Malaysia. The automaker has recorded over 2,000 vehicle bookings and delivered more than 1,000 units of its popular SUVs - Dashing and VT9, within its first three months of local operations that kicked off in June. 

The Jetour Dashing is a 5-seater SUV while the VT9 is a 7-seater SUV; both are powered by the same 156 PS/230 Nm 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, offering smooth, linear power delivery.

Jetour’s rapid expansion in Malaysia 

This remarkable success is attributed to the rapid expansion of the brand’s retail and service network. As of August 2025, Jetour Malaysia operates 20 authorised dealerships covering Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Body & Paint facilities strategically located across Peninsular Malaysia. These include - 

• Klang Valley locations: Bukit Jalil, Klang, Cheras, Sungai Long, Setia Alam, Kepong, Damansara, Puchong, Shah Alam (Glenmarie), Jalan Kuching, Ampang
• Northern Region: Ipoh, Penang, Alor Setar
• Southern Region: Johor Bahru, Melaka

These dealerships offer the potential buyers a chance to check out Jetour SUVs up and close, get personalised consultations, and take test drives. Several of these outlets feature a premium ambience with well-equipped customer lounge areas, quality amenities, and dedicated servicing bays.
