The design elements like the slimmer LED DRLs, uniquely positioned LED headlamps, the cascading grille all look to be inspired by the Kona. Move to the side and you will see a bold shoulder line that flows from the front and meets the taillights all the way back. The windows have also been provided with an updated design. At the rear, present are the all-new C-shaped wrap-around style taillights which also have checkered graphics within them. Positioned at the bottom is the reverse lights along with turn indicators. There is also a large skid plate and a trapezoid shape exhaust unit.

On the inside, more familiarity with the Kona can be noticed. There are slimmer air-conditioning vents, a standing touchscreen, Qi wireless charging tray, and dual-zone climate control buttons, among others. For the convenience, residing next to the gear lever are two cup holders. The whole interior on the all-new Santa Fe has been revamped in the bid to give the car a much more luxurious appeal. There is a 60:40 split second row, which can be folded down both electrically and manually. A large flat cargo space can be achieved with both the second and third row folded down. We also get a digital instrument cluster and leather upholstery in the latest Santa Fe.
