Leapmotor C10 gets an upgrade in Malaysia; price reduced by RM 34,000

KUALA LUMPUR: Stellantis Malaysia has launched the upgraded version of the Leapmotor C10. The enhanced electric SUV offers improved everyday practicality and passenger comfort and provides better value. This announcement coincides with Leapmotor being recognised as China’s fastest-growing EV brand, and in celebration of Father’s Day.

2025 Leapmotor C10 price

The improved C10 is now available at all authorised Leapmotor dealerships nationwide at a reduced price tag, reading RM 125,000. It makes the EV approximately RM 34,000 more affordable than the 2024 model, priced at RM 159,700.

2025 Leapmotor C10: What’s new?

The C10 gets a range of updates for model year 2025, including - 

• An uprated 11 kW on-board charger, replacing the 6.6 kW unit, which improves AC charging efficiency and reduces 30%-80% charging time from 6 hours to just 4 hours.
• New upholstery palette including Black (replacing  Midnight Aurora) and  Camel Brown (replacing Criollo Brown). With the Canopy Grey, Pearly White, and Tundra Grey exterior colours, the automaker now offers a new Black upholstery, while the Glazed Green exterior comes with an exclusive Camel Brown interior.
• A new 32-litre 'frunk' (front trunk) for convenient extra storage.
• A boot tonneau cover is designed to protect valuable cargo.
• A new Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, offering real-time tyre condition data.
• A motorised tyre inflator pump kit.

The Leapmotor C10 EV, one of the top contenders in the modern electric SUV market, continues to get power from a rear electric motor capable of delivering 218 PS of maximum power and 320 Nm of peak torque. The motor is fed by a 69.9 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery pack, enabling the EV to cruise up to 424 km range on a full charge.

• Advanced safety systems: Awarded a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, the Chinese EV comes packed with 12 high-precision sensors and 17 advanced driver-assistance features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and driver drowsiness alerts.
