New Xpeng outlet opens in Damansara Utama
KUALA LUMPUR: Xpeng has expanded its footprint in Malaysia, with the launch of a new outlet in Damansara Utama. Owned and operated by Nizra Auto, the new Xpeng facility is a 1S centre where customers can explore the brand’s innovative lineup of electric vehicles up close.

Upon launching the new facility, Nizra Group Berhad founder and group CEO Nik Iruwan Nik Izani said, “Many people see XPeng as an electric vehicle company. We see it as a technology company. The car is simply where artificial intelligence, software, connectivity, and autonomous technologies come together. The future belongs to companies that build great technology, not just great cars.”
He also expressed his appreciation to Bermaz Auto Berhad for its confidence in Nizra Auto.
As Xpeng Damansara is a 1S centre, Nizra Auto will soon be developing a dedicated after-sales and service facility to offer customers a complete vehicle ownership experience.
AI integration across dealership operations
Alongside the store launch, Nizra Group announced a digital partnership with AIMotion, a local AI-powered marketing consulting company, to directly integrate artificial intelligence into customer touchpoints, operational decision-making, and dealership management workflows.
Xpeng Malaysia targets 30 outlets by 2028
The opening of the new outlet reflects Xpeng’s continued push to strengthen its network in Malaysia, while catering to growing demand for intelligent EVs. The brand plans to have 18 designated outlets by the end of 2026, with a target to increase the total showroom count to 30 by the end of 2028.
Notably, the local assembly of Xpeng models has officially commenced at the EPMB plant in Melaka, with the first locally-assembled Xpeng G6 rolling off the assembly line in June 2026.
