Ora Good Cat EV gets a new Pistachio Green colour scheme

KUALA LUMPUR: Late last year, Great Wall Motors Malaysia launched the all-new Ora Good Cat EV in five striking colour tones. Well, the EV’s colour palette has now expanded to include a new Pistachio Green shade.

The Ora Good Cat finished in new Pistachio Green was recently displayed at the company’s Roadshow in the Sunway Velocity Mall and gained quite a lot of eyeballs. 

Not only the exterior but the interior of the quirky Chinese EV is also dipped in a matching green colour. We can see the splashes of Pistachio Green on the dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, and seats. A cat paw in the same shade is positioned on the armrest to make things more interesting. The contrasting orange highlights on the dash, seats, and other places round off the two-tone cabin look.

As a quick recap, the Ora Good Cat is offered in two variants in Malaysia - 400 Pro and 500 Ultra, priced at RM 139,800 and RM 169,800, respectively. The new Pistachio Green is only available on the 500 Ultra trim. The other colour choices include - Coral Blue, Sun Black, Mars Red, Verdant Green, Hamilton White, and Em Beige.

The top-spec 500 Ultra comes equipped with a 63.1 kWh ternary lithium battery pack that offers 500 km of range (on the NEDC cycle). The 400 Pro, on the other hand, features a 47.8 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery that promises a drive of 400 km on a single charge.

Dimensionally, the EV is 4,235 mm long, 1,825 mm wide, and 1,596 mm tall and spans a 2,650 mm long wheelbase. 

Standard equipment kit includes - a 7.0-inch digital driver display, a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 360-degree surround-view monitor, wireless charging pad, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic shifter, 6-way electrically-adjustable driver seats, automatic climate control with a PM2.5 filter, synthetic leather upholstery, six airbags and tons of advanced features like adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, intelligent turning, automatic Emergency braking, forward collision warning, and more.
