Proton e.MAS 7 en route to Nepal; launch slated for next month

Well, as per recent reports, Nepal is going to be the first country to receive Malaysia's electric SUV.

Nepal’s leading media company, TechLekh, reports that the Proton e.MAS 7 will launch in the country in the third week of March. It will be offered in two variants - Light and Max with expected pricing starting at NPR 58,90,000 (approx RM 189k).
In terms of specifications, the Nepal-bound Proton e.MAS 7 is likely to mirror the Prime and Premium variants. Both trims are powered by a 12-in-1 intelligent electric propulsion system, which kicks out a maximum power of 218 hp and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The setup enables the EV to run from zero to 100 kmph in approx 7 seconds and hit a top speed of 175 kmph.

As for the battery pack, the EV comes equipped with Geely's Aegis "short blade" cells available in the below-mentioned capacities.
