To celebrate the Lunar New Year and the delivery of the first Proton e.MAS 7 units to customers, PRO-NET is offering a 30 per cent discount on public charging fees for Proton e.MAS and smart EV owners.

The discount will be available from January 25 to February 3, 2025, and applies to over 80 per cent of public charging stations nationwide.

Eligible owners simply need to start their charging sessions using either the Proton e.MAS or Hello smart apps, where the discount will be applied automatically.

According to PRO-NET, this initiative is their way of showing their commitment to making EV ownership more convenient and accessible. "Proton e.MAS is all about making EV ownership easy and enjoyable," PRO-NET explained in its press release.

Features like live charging station availability and route planning based on the car’s battery level make long journeys more manageable for owners.

The promotion is also part of PRO-NET’s broader efforts to enhance Malaysia’s EV charging infrastructure. The Proton e.MAS and Hello smart apps now provide access to multiple charging networks, including Gentari, Jomcharge, chargEV, DC Handal, CarputZap, and ChargeSini.

Additionally, PRO-NET is strengthening its partnership with Shell Recharge to expand the availability of high-performance charging stations across highways and city centers.

These stations, capable of delivering up to 180kW of power, allow for faster and more convenient stops during long trips.

Proton e.MAS owners also benefit from the integration of the ChargeSini Network, the first in Malaysia to enable roaming arrangements between networks. This ensures seamless charging experiences regardless of the station operator.

With this Lunar New Year charging discount, it seems PRO-NET is showing their effort to make the transition to electric vehicles smoother and more enjoyable for Malaysians.

For more updates and offers, PRO-NET wishes you to follow Proton e.MAS on their official website and social media platforms, including Facebook and Xiaohongshu under "Proton e.MAS Cars," and TikTok and Instagram at "@protonemasofficial."
