UMW Toyota reveals August 2025 sales numbers; announces September promo

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota ended August on a strong note as it managed to sell a total of 9,083 vehicles (Toyota + Lexus) during the month, representing a growth of approximately 2.3% over the previous month. With this, the Japanese automaker’s year-to-date sales for 2025 stand at 62,246 units.

These numbers reflect continued demand for Toyota vehicles in Malaysia, making it a leading non-national automotive brand. It also highlights the strength of the brand’s multipathway approach, giving buyers the right mix of electrification solutions alongside dependable vehicles that fit everyday lifestyles.
