Zeekr 009 Grand Collector Edition debuts with 24K gold-plated trims

KUALA LUMPUR: Zeekr has just rolled out an upscale version of its already luxurious MPV, the 009. Dubbed as the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector Edition, this ultra-luxurious electric people-hauler is adorned with genuine 24K gold accents.

Based on the Zeekr 009 Grand, the gold-plated MPV carries a hefty price tag of CNY 899,000 (approx RM 542,000), making it CNY 110,000 (RM 66,300) dearer than the donor model. The Grand is a 4-seater variant of the minivan, targeting wealthy businessmen.

Zeekr 009 Grand Collector Edition: Key highlights 

• The front logo, rear logo, door handles, window frames, side steps, and rims of the MPV are plated in 24K gold.

• With an ultra-exclusive 4-seat layout, the cabin has business-class-style rear seats with 24-way adjustability, 8 massage modes, and integrated leg rests.
• Enhancing the opulence of the cabin are hand-polished Himalayan Marble trim, aniline leather upholstery, gold-hued seat belts, and ultra-soft carpets made of camel hair from the Andean mountains in Peru.
• We can also find Zeekr monograms on either side of the massive 43-inch 4K rear entertainment screen, powered by Zeekr OS 6.0 operating system.

• The rear passengers also get an 8-inch touchscreen control panel, a plush armrest, and retractable tray tables.
• Other creature comforts include - 31-speaker, 3,000-watt Yamaha sound system, 18-litre hot and cold refrigerator, electrochromic rear side windows, LC Smart Curtain Glass, and a crystal switchgear.  
• Powering this 4-seater opulent MPV is a dual-motor AWD setup, which delivers a combined output of 778 hp and 810 Nm. It is mated to a 108-kWh CATL-sourced battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 702 km.

Closer to home, the Zeekr 009 is available in two variants: 7-seater Luxury and 6-seater Ultra Luxury, priced at RM 349,800 and RM 359,800, respectively. Both are equipped with a 116 kWh battery with a WLTP-claimed range of 582 km.
