Zeekr kicks off new phase in Malaysia - Multiple outlets set to open

KUALA LUMPUR: Zeekr has begun a new chapter in Malaysia with the establishment of a national sales company (NSC) in Malaysia, named Zeekr Intelligent Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. The new entity will take care of wholesale operations, dealer network expansion, branding and marketing activities, and after-sales operations in the country.

This marks a significant step in Zeekr’s local journey to bring next-generation electric luxury to the region. The brand currently has two Zeekr Space outlets in Petaling Jaya and IOI Mall Puchong. However, its ambitious growth plans include the opening of 10 showrooms and 3 service centres by the end of 2025. The company is seeking new dealers in Cheras, Kuantan, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Tebrau JB.

With the formation of its Zeekr Intelligent Technology (Malaysia) and support from local partners Sentinel Automotive, Preeminent Auto, and Carro, Geely's premium sub-brand is set to expand rapidly in the country.

Zeekr cars in Malaysia

Zeekr entered the Malaysian market late last year with the launch of two electric cars - 009 and X. The Zeekr 009 is a premium MPV available in 6- and 7-seater configurations with prices ranging from RM 349,800 and RM 359,800. The Zeekr X, on the other hand, is a compact electric SUV, which comes in two variants - Premium and Flagship, priced at RM 155,800 and RM 172,800, respectively.
